Remote - Claims Service Representative, National Accounts (Alberta Canada)
Role Summary
Working with a team of people, you will provide administrative support services in claims creation and demonstrate a superior level of customer service. This role requires the flexibility to be available between the hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST Monday through Friday. Other duties as may be required.

Responsibilities
Claims Set Up
- Claim creation in dedicated claims management system(s) as per account instructions
- Claim is triaged appropriately and assigned within target timeframe with 95% accuracy
- Participate on Email and / or Phone Queues
- Make initial contact
Billings, and payment processing
- Files billed within specified time frame, as per account instructions
- Payments issued accurately and as per account instruction
Claims support
- Handle claims inquiries, including calls from insureds, third party insurers and vendors
- Provide assistance with data entry, notes, ordering police reports, lien searches and other claims related tasks
Account Management Support
- Proper handling of correspondence for National Account employees and maintaining a catalogue of electronic devices
- Provide claim file management support in Claims Management System(s)
- Completing data integrity tasks and updates
- Assisting with all other requests as directed from supervisor and National Accounts management team
Required Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in administration, insurance or related fields is considered an asset
- Experience in an administrative support role, specifically in the insurance industry is considered an asset
- Experience working within a dynamic team
- Must have the aptitude and ability to learn new skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with reporting and data management considered an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legal to work in Canada
