Remote - Claims Service Representative, National Accounts (Alberta Canada)

Role Summary

Working with a team of people, you will provide administrative support services in claims creation and demonstrate a superior level of customer service. This role requires flexibility to be available between 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Other duties as may be required.

Responsibilities

Claims Set Up
  • Claim creation in dedicated claims management system(s) as per account instructions
  • Claim is triaged appropriately and assigned within target timeframe with 95% accuracy
  • Participate on email and/or phone queues
  • Make initial contact
  • Billings and payment processing: Files billed within specified timeframe, payments issued accurately as per account instructions
  • Claims support: Handle claims inquiries from insureds, third-party insurers, and vendors; provide assistance with data entry, notes, police reports, lien searches, and other claims-related tasks
  • Account Management Support: Proper handling of correspondence for National Account employees, maintaining a catalogue of electronic devices, claim file management, data integrity tasks, and supporting other requests as directed

Required Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in administration, insurance, or related fields is considered an asset
  • Experience in an administrative support role, specifically in the insurance industry, is considered an asset
  • Experience working within a dynamic team
  • Aptitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with reporting and data management considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
