Sentrex Health Solutions is hiring a Care Navigator to manage enrollment, reimbursement, and service coordination for patients in the PSP. You will support physicians, clinics, and patients with drug coverage and ensure timely access to therapies.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education with experience in healthcare is an asset.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
• Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, the appeals process, and providing support and consultation is an asset.
• Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and the process is an asset.
• Must be able to work from home and have a quiet, private home office space.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills including interpretation of regulation and legislation.
• Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for all patient-related elements of the PSP.
• Ensure timely enrollment of patients into the PSP.
• Provide telephone support and adherence follow-up.
• Collaborate with patient, insurer and physician for documentation to maximize reimbursement.
• Review patient status and assist physician with documentation for coverage.
• Provide therapy guidelines/education to manage expectations.
• Conduct patient financial eligibility assessments per program guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies and service providers to support patients.
• Maintain timely tracking of services and access to therapy.
• Verify information for accuracy to initiate and continue services.
• Maintain CRM patient/clinic information and ensure data quality.
• Foster teamwork with internal patient support teams.
• Identify obstacles to coverage and escalate to PSP Supervisor.
• Follow-up until coverage decisions are obtained.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
• Additional duties as requested by the Manager.
