Job summary

Energy Job Shop seeks Skilled Labourers and Support Equipment Operators for heavy civil projects across Alberta. This project-based role offers camp accommodations, 12-hour day/night rotations, and remote site assignments.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, safety-focused, with 2+ years in construction or mining, valid Class 5 license, and the required safety certifications. Competitive wages and year-round opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a construction labourer in heavy civil earthworks, construction, road building, or mining
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean 3-year abstract
• Valid safety training tickets (CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional)
• Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED
• H2S Alive
• Bear Awareness (In-Class)
• Ground Disturbance (HEO)
• CSA Approved safety boots (minimum 6" high & fully laceable)
• Successful completion of Alcohol and Drug Screening
• Successful completion of comprehensive Fitness-to-Work Assessment
• Physically able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work rotational schedules (12-hour day/night shifts)
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
