Job summary

Dexterra Group seeks an Entry‑Level Construction Labourer for the Lake Lodge remote site in Nunavut. The role involves assisting trades, moving materials, and supporting site operations during a 12‑hour shift and a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

Ideal candidates are willing to learn, able to work physically demanding tasks, and comfortable in a remote northern environment. WHMIS or willingness to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades with day‑to‑day construction activities.
• Load/unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain clean, hazard‑free work areas and store materials properly.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and site maintenance tasks.
• Support site setup, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
• Report safety hazards or damaged equipment immediately.
• Perform general labour duties as required by supervisors.
