Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH seeks an Area Sales Manager for Specialty Rental (Outside Sales) in the Acheson, Alberta region. This fully remote role focuses on expanding revenues, market share, and customer base by selling value and solutions to new and existing clients.

You will lead in-person and remote sales, analyze territory data, and promote products to hit rental and sales goals while training customers on equipment operation to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of industrial sales experience with demonstrated success.
• BS in Engineering or Technical field, with business or sales experience; or business degree with industry experience.
• Strong selling and interpersonal communications, with excellent written and oral skills.
• Customer service orientation and ability to keep commitments and build trust.
• Forecasting sales and conducting prospecting activities.
• Teamwork and independent work with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions.
• Analyze territory trends and market data to inform strategy.
• Promote products to achieve rental and sales revenue goals, preparing presentations and focusing on customer needs.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.
• May assist in collecting customer accounts.
• May assist in familiarizing and training customers on equipment to reduce downtime and service calls.
• Implements, sustains, and develops quality process improvements focusing on safety, financials, operations and customer service.
