Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, English-speaking contributors to help train AI models across voice, image, and video modalities. This freelance, remote opportunity offers flexible hours and the ability to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge AI research.

You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated media, inspect outputs for issues such as distorted motion or text errors, and provide clear, evidence-based explanations in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable speaking about realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Provide written explanations in English detailing observations and rationale.
