Job summary

Outlier is offering a remote, flexible-participation role where you evaluate AI-generated media and provide written explanations of what’s off. You’ll conduct live English conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-created images and videos, and assess how well outputs follow prompts.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and able to articulate clear, evidence-based explanations. This is a freelance, remote position with diverse projects across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Having a Bachelor's degree or higher is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely—zooming in and replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a concise English explanation.
