Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, compare generated images and videos for prompt fidelity, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

At Outlier, your evaluations help shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve, contributing to frontier research and AI that performs better in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic situations clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation.
