Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from a remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, rank outputs, and describe what looked or sounded off in writing.

Your work helps improve AI reasoning and real-world performance, with payment on a freelance 1099 basis. Responsibilities include evaluating images, videos, and audio against prompts, providing clear explanations, and learning from each task.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain observations clearly.
• Nice to have a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Capable of thinking on your feet and articulating reasoning clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when two options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Rating outputs on adherence, quality, and realism, then writing explanations in English.
