RWS seeks AI Linguistic Evaluators to assess Bengali language quality for an AI project. This remote freelance role offers flexible work, starting immediately, with approximately 10-15 total hours.

You will translate prompts, interact with the AI, and provide structured evaluations according to guidelines, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy. Ideal candidates have linguistics or translation backgrounds and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

• Interacting with an AI assistant in your target language.
• Translating provided prompts from English into your target language and using them to interact with the AI application.
• Evaluating the quality of AI-generated responses according to project guidelines.
• Assessing localization quality, including linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
• Providing structured evaluations and feedback following the project instructions and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Native-level fluency inBengali (India)
• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of the target language
• Ability to accurately translate prompts from English into the target language
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in language-related work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
• Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments
• Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
