Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to help train generative AI models. You will engage in live conversations with AI voices, rate naturalness and clarity, and compare AI-generated media against prompts.

Responsibilities include inspecting outputs for issues, writing concise explanations in English, and selecting the best option when multiple flaws exist. Remote freelance work with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail with patience to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flicker, or audio-video mismatch.
• Provide written explanations in English that point to what you saw or heard.
