Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what went wrong in writing, all from home and on a flexible schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation loop, your work helps improve AI systems for real-world performance. This is a freelance, 1099 contract opportunity open to applicants internationally.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models in English.
• Rank AI outputs by naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distortions, flickering, or mismatched audio/video.
• Write clear, English explanations pointing to observed issues.
