Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to help train AI voice, image, and video models in a remote, freelance capacity. You will engage in live conversations, rate naturalness and usefulness, and provide concise written explanations.

This role emphasizes strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to make clear judgments when evaluating AI outputs. Flexible hours and screening/onboarding are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay/zoom for accuracy.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images/videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio/video.
• Provide written explanations in English detailing observations and rationale.
