Qualifications
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC).
Membership with NPAO or RNAO is an asset.
Evidence of professional practice liability insurance required.
Completion of suboxone and addiction medicine education.
Certified in prescribing narcotics and controlled substances.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced health assessments and manage patients with addictions.
Utilize evidence-based interventions for substance use disorders.
Provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.
