Job summary

ZEISS is seeking an Account Manager to generate new business profits in a defined territory, covering Eastern Canada with strong emphasis on ophthalmology. You will manage opportunities, forecast revenue, and build trusted relationships with physicians and clinics.

The role requires product demonstrations, installations, and post-installation support, plus collaboration with marketing and service teams to achieve sales goals while traveling extensively in Canada and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in medical devices or related technology sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations, installations, or technical trainings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales quotas by identifying and closing opportunities.
• Develop territory/account plans and manage forecasts in CRM.
• Build and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists and optometrists with product support.
• Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to drive local initiatives and report insights.
