Job summary

HealthOPM is seeking Nurse Practitioners for on-site roles in Thunder Bay, Ontario, with relocation support. Relocation and competitive compensation are offered, with immediate start dates and options for full-time or part-time employment.

Qualified NPs must hold an active CNO license, have a Master’s degree (MN-NP or MScN), and bring experience in harm reduction, HIV/Hep C, or community health. EMRs proficiency and up-to-date immunizations are required.

Qualifications

• Registered NP (Adult or Primary Health Care) with active CNO license.
• Masters degree (MN-NP or MScN).
• Prefer: harm reduction, HIV/Hep C, or community health experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills.
• Proficient in EMRs.
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test and immunizations (MMRV, TB test, or chest X-ray).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site patient care using a harm reduction approach.
• Focus on HIV, Hepatitis C, and chronic condition management.
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Prescribe and manage medications.
• Educate patients on prevention and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Follow CNO standards and privacy regulations.
• Engage local health and community organizations.
