Job summary

HealthOPM is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) for flexible assignments across Ontario, offering virtual and on-site work options to suit your lifestyle.

Roles are available for both full-time and part-time schedules with competitive compensation. Immediate start is available with opportunities to work in HIV, Hepatitis C and harm reduction care in a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Registered NP with valid CNO registration.
• Masters degree in Nursing (MN-NP) or MScN.
• Experience in primary care or community health preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and prescribing skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with harm reduction focus on HIV and Hepatitis C.
• Conduct health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with CNO standards and privacy regulations.
• Document patient interactions in EMR.
• Engage with community partners to enhance support services.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP-Adult or NP-Primary Health Care) with valid CNO registration.
Masters degree in Nursing (MN-NP) or Master of Science in Nursing (MScN).
Experience in primary care, harm reduction, HIV, Hepatitis C, or community health (preferred).
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and prescribing skills.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
N95 Mask Fit Test Certification & up-to-date immunizations (MMRV, TB test, or chest X-ray).
