Job description

Join to apply for the Relief Pharmacist role at Loblaw Companies Limited.

This dynamic and exciting Pharmacist role reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy and is responsible for providing Pharmacy Services at Loblaw Pharmacy locations across Southwestern Ontario.

What You'll Do:

1. Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
2. Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.
3. Administer vaccinations and perform activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program.
4. Provide pharmaceutical professional services such as medication reviews, prescription adaptations, and minor ailment prescribing.
5. Provide timely and positive resolutions to patient needs and prescriber requests/issues.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
• Driver’s License.
• Injection Certification.
• Minor Ailment Certification, excellent customer relations skills, and a strong sense of professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of HealthWatch (paperless).
