Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diploma in Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current practicing license as an LPN, RPN, RN or NP with no limits or conditions.
• Minimum three to five years of Canadian nursing experience.
• Course work in Indigenous cultural safety and humility.
• Ability to function effectively as a team member.
• Committed to student motivation and achievement.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses across Health Care Assistant, Access to Practical Nursing, or Practice Nursing programs.
• Deliver subject content including communications, professional practice, health promotions, pharmacology, and integrated practice.
• Contribute to student assessment and support, in a temporary on-call capacity.
