Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 10 with four (4) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in mechanical and plumbing trades.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken).
• Physical ability to perform duties and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs to equipment such as washers, dryers, floor scrubbers, tow motors, pallet jacks, dishwashers, conveyors and hospital rolling stock.
• Install plumbing fixtures and systems (taps, sinks, toilets) and modify water supply and waste lines.
• Install, repair and replace doors and hardware (closures, locks).
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and tools; document reports; assist purchasing.
