If shaping the future of connectivity excites you, you’ll fit right in. **Why You’ll Love This Role**Lumentum is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Reliability Test Automation Co-Op student to join the Optical Communication Transport Engineering team in Ottawa, Ontario. **The Opportunity*** 8 month term from January 2027 - August 2027, potential to extend to 12 months.* Pay range: $24-35/hr**What You’ll Be Doing**You will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of programs by:• Developing Test code to support Reliability Test Automation suites;• Updating and maintaining reliability lab database and software;• Gathering and documenting requirements through consultation with users and developers;• Applying best practices from design through testing;• Solving complex problems;• Analyzing and characterizing failures;• Applying your knowledge in the following areas: object-oriented programming, code reuse, designing for test and support, etc.;• Assist with execution of component qualification verification tests (e.g., HAST);• Collect then analyze data and compare results with vendor submitted data.
