Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Reliability Engineer for the Maintenance Team, Building & Equipment. You will analyze maintenance data to identify trends and root causes, and define preventive and predictive plans aligned with safety and cost considerations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in industry, bilingual French/English, strong analytical skills, and CMMS experience (Maximo preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least five years in industry.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical skills and interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

What are your contributions to the team?

In your role, you will:

• Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures to propose sustainable solutions.
• Define and implement maintenance plans: Develop preventive and predictive programs based on manufacturer recommendations and best practices.
• Manage risk and criticality: Assess the impact of failures on safety, production, and costs, and prioritize interventions accordingly.
• Coordinate across departments: Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to integrate reliability into design and planning.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and maintenance system performance.
• Provide training and awareness: Support teams in adopting preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
• Monitor performance indicators (KPIs): MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, etc.
