Job summary

Laurentide Controls ltd, a leading provider of automation and reliability solutions in Eastern Canada, is seeking a Reliability Specialist to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of client operations.

You will apply engineering principles to conduct reliability assessments, develop maintenance strategies, and implement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Willingness to travel within Eastern Canada and collaborate with senior consultants is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related DEC.
• French language skills, written and verbal, required.
• English skills are an asset.
• Familiarity with criticality analysis, FMEA, PMO, RCM, MRO, ODR, RCA, CMMS.
• CMRP certification or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability improvement program implementation projects.
• Identify root causes of complex reliability issues through analysis.
• Manage reliability improvement program initiatives.
• Lead projects to establish best lubrication practices.
• Educate maintenance staff on reliability through training.
• Assist senior consultants in reliability project management.

As a Reliability Specialist, you will ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our clients’ operations by applying engineering principles and analytical techniques. You will conduct reliability assessments, develop maintenance strategies, and implement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a related DEC.
• Communication skills, written and verbal, in French.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with methodologies/tools like criticality analysis, FMEA, PMO, RCM, MRO, ODR, RCA, CMMS.
• CMRP certification or equivalent is an asset.

WORK LOCATION:

Must be willing and able to travel within Eastern Canada.
