Job summary

Adecco is hiring a full-time Reliability Engineer - Fixed Equipment & Asset Integrity to join our Fort McMurray, AB client team. You will develop and sustain asset strategies for critical fixed equipment and lead RCM/RBI efforts.

The role requires a Mechanical or Materials Engineering degree, 5–10 years in refining or oil sands operations, and strong analytical and stakeholder skills. Site-based in Fort McMurray with standard 40-hour weeks and a 3-month initial term.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in refining, upgrading, petrochemical or oil sands operations.
Experience leading RCM and RBI assessments for fixed equipment.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to relocate to Fort McMurray, AB or reside in the area.

Responsibilities

Develop and sustain fixed equipment reliability strategies for critical assets.
Collect and analyze operating histories, inspection reports, failure data, and maintenance records.
Facilitate RCM and RBI assessments.
Evaluate degradation mechanisms and asset integrity risks.
Develop risk-based inspection and maintenance strategies to improve asset performance.
Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
