Job summary

Coast Capital Savings is seeking a Relationship Manager to serve members at the Kelowna branch. The role encompasses identifying lending/credit and investment opportunities and addressing day-to-day banking needs with trusted guidance.

You will win new member acquisitions while deepening existing relationships, delivering Coast Capital’s values, and helping members meet financial goals through specialized products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience helping customers in either a bank or a credit union for a minimum five years.
• Must hold a CFSA designation or be willing to obtain it within 18 months of start date; alternatives include PFP, CFP, or QAFP with possible financial support for CFSA certification.
• Post-secondary education in finance, business administration or related field.
• Investment Funds in Canada is a requirement.
• Solid understanding of day-to-day banking, complex investment and lending products.
• Sales orientation with ability to spot sales and referral opportunities.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people and help them with simple financial needs.
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization and attention to detail.

• Use banking expertise to match needs with core banking, lending, and investment options.
• Collaborate with branch teams to refer general insurance and complex investment needs.
• Engage customers to maximize opportunities to manage, save, grow, and protect financial well-being.
• Contribute to changing Canadians' perception of banking by delivering trusted advice.
