Job summary

Coast Capital in Metro Vancouver seeks a Senior Financial Advisor (Relationship Manager) to serve members with lending, investments, and daily banking needs. You’ll identify opportunities and provide trusted advice in a branch environment.

This Ready Now role trains at the Metrotown branch and may be permanently assigned to any Coast Capital location within Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. Experience in banking and CFSA or equivalent recommended.

Qualifications

Minimum five years helping customers in a bank or credit union.
Must hold CFSA or be willing to obtain within 18 months; CFSA or equivalents (PFP, CFP, QAFP) may satisfy.
Post-secondary education in finance, business administration or related field.
Investment Funds in Canada is a requirement.
Solid understanding of day-to-day banking, complex investment, and lending products.
You are a sales pro with ability to spot sales/referral opportunities.
You like building relationships with a wide variety of people and helping them with simple financial needs.
You are a multi-tasker with high attention to detail.

Get to know members and deliver positive customer experiences.
Match needs with Coast Capital core banking, lending, and investment options.
Collaborate with branch teams to uncover and refer insurance and investment needs.
Engage members in the Where You’re at Money Chat to help them manage, save, grow and protect finances.
