Job summary

ICE Data Services is seeking a full-time Relationship Manager in Calgary to manage and grow relationships with key Energy and Commodities accounts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in energy markets and proficiency in the use of market data systems, contributing to customer success through training and support of ICE Connect products.

Qualifications

Job description

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents the unique opportunity for a full-time Relationship Manager to join a team responsible for surpassing sales quotas and meeting existing customer revenue retention goals. They will be responsible for growing ICE Connect Desktop products by working with specific key Energy and Commodities accounts in Canada. The ICE Connect product suite includes ICE Connect, ICE IM / Chat, and ICE Options Analytics.

This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on their own successes and those of the team. A strong communicator with a good knowledge of market data and trading environments from content, technology and networking perspective is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the ICE Connect suite of products (primarily ICE Connect, ICE Chat, ICE Voice, Connect Trade, ICE Options Analytics) within an assigned territory (and / or assigned accounts).
  • Become an expert on the ICE Connect suite of products.
  • Manage relationships with existing users through trainings, floor walks, and Zoom sessions as well as become the “go to” person for all account inquiries.
  • Minimize cancellations within existing accounts through training and account analysis.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise across the ICE Connect product suite.
  • Uncover leads for sales through customer relationships and intel gathering.
  • Strong Excel skills for both RTD-based creation with customers as well as internal accounting, forecasting, and billing dispute resolution.
  • Manage new feature rollouts and projects for all ICE Connect applications.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, clients, and product management.
  • Update Product Management on feature requests coming from clients.
  • Collaborate with sales on both pre and post sales activities.
  • Communicate competitive intelligence to PMs and Sales.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, Oracle is a plus.
  • Experience with vended market data systems and trade execution systems.
  • Deep knowledge of market structure in the physical energy trading realm.
  • 3 plus years experience in Energy markets (specifically market data and / or trading). Strong industry knowledge specific to (Gas / Power / Oil) market and their related derivatives, the trade life cycle, and related terminology.
  • Experience with contracts. Past experience troubleshooting and resolving customer billing issues.
  • Attention to detail, follow up, and diligence in all aspects of work is essential.
  • Confident and professional communicator, both written and in front of an audience.
  • Logical and methodical troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable following processes and procedures as well as driving process improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure, while maintaining high quality output and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
