Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Relationship Manager at Mortgage Professionals Canada. The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with members, facilitating communication and collaboration, and ensuring the needs of the association and its members are met on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of membership outreach plans by identifying and converting prospective companies and members
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual members, ensuring member needs and expectations are well understood and addressed
- Assist with the delivery of member services and ensure needs are recorded and addressed in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay member feedback and help implement improvements to member engagement and priorities
- Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure consistent, member-focused messaging
- Organize and manage logistics for key events, including the national conference and industry expos
- Support planning of new events and programs, and assist with sponsorship acquisition
- Monitor and track departmental budgets, and assist with operational reporting and forecasts
- Maintain working relationships with partner organizations and assist in joint member initiatives
- Involves national travel to regional symposiums, our national conference, and ad hoc events — including some evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the mortgage broker channel, with a strong industry network
- Direct experience working within a mortgage brokerage environment is highly preferred
- Proven expertise in customer relationship management, with strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Experience coordinating teams and working across departments to deliver shared outcomes
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities
- University degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
