Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Relationship Manager to oversee client farming relationships across Canada. You will tailor financing packages, manage loan execution, and collaborate with internal teams to support customers.

The role requires knowledge of agriculture finance, strong relationship-building skills and travel to client sites. A bachelor's degree in a related field plus relevant experience are preferred, with bilingual English/French considered an asset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, commerce or related field is required.
  • Experience communicating financial information clearly to customers or internal partners is expected.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships with customers and partners is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for customer meetings are required.
  • Agriculture knowledge or agribusiness familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build financing packages that meet customers' business needs.
  • Execute loans: structure, documentation, approvals, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with FCC customers and partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the loan portfolio and cross-sell products.
  • Travel to customer farms/offices to assess needs and provide tailored support.
  • Analyze customer financial information to inform credit decisions.
  • Create, process and approve new credit facilities.
