We are seeking a bilingual Relationship Executive (English/Chinese) to join our Toronto team in a permanent, onsite role, working five days per week. To support our HNW and premium clients across global market hours, this position may require a flexible schedule, including rotating evening and/or weekend shifts.

The Relationship Executive is responsible for delivering high-touch relationship management, business development, and execution support for HNW and premium clients. This role is focused on retaining and growing an assigned client book by deepening relationships, increasing engagement and trading activity, identifying wallet share opportunities, and generating new revenue through referrals and reactivation. The role operates within a non-advisory, execution-only environment and is expected to provide an exceptional client experience while adhering to all applicable regulatory and internal requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned HNW and premium clients through regular calls, meetings, and proactive check-ins.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client inquiries, service needs, platform support, and execution-related requests in a non-advisory, execution-only capacity.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client objectives, trading behaviours, account structures, and activity levels to deliver a tailored client experience.
  • Respond to client needs promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless experience across onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve client issues in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Revenue Growth & Client Engagement
  • Drive retention, revenue growth, and wallet share across an assigned premium client book.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, referral, and reactivation opportunities within the existing book.
  • Develop and execute targeted engagement plans to increase client activity, deepen relationships, and reduce attrition risk.
  • Monitor client activity trends and intervene early where engagement drops or retention risk is identified.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and follow through on commercial actions that support book growth.
Execution Support & Business Development
  • Provide high-quality execution support, including phone dealing and platform-related assistance, in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate clients on platform features, order types, and risk-control tools to improve the client experience and encourage deeper engagement.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of global financial markets and relevant asset classes to support execution-only client conversations.
  • Generate business through networking, referrals, and relationship-led business development.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales stakeholders to support premium segment initiatives, onboarding, and client outreach.
Collaboration, Compliance & Reporting
  • Work closely with Trading, Business Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Marketing to deliver a seamless client experience and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure all client interactions and outreach are conducted within a non-advisory framework and in line with CIRO, CSA, CASL, PIPEDA, and AML/ATF requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, opportunities, and activity.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including retention, revenue growth, client activity, and pipeline progression.
  • Share client feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement in service, product, and platform experience.
What Will Help You Be Successful
  • 3-5 years of experience in derivatives and/or financial sales within a regulated dealer environment, ideally across CFDs, FX, equities, indices, or options.
  • Demonstrated success in premium client relationship management and B2C and/or B2B business development.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment with resilience and strong commercial instincts.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a non-standard schedule, including evenings and weekends, to support global market activity and client needs.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets and asset classes, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Strong phone presence, interpersonal skills, organization, and time management.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to execute client instructions accurately, including phone dealing where applicable, in accordance with CIRO rules and firm procedures.
  • Familiarity with platform support, execution workflows, and communicating effectively with dealers and internal stakeholders.
  • CIRO proficiency, including the CIRE and Derivatives Exam, is preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain the required qualifications within a defined timeframe.
  • Working knowledge of KYC, KYP, and Suitability requirements, and how they apply in an execution-only environment, is considered an asset
