Job summary

Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Worker I for the Hart Hub in Smiths Falls, night awake shift. Travel to Brockville Hart Hub may be required on occasion.

This full-time position focuses on crisis intervention and supporting individuals within a health services framework. Required qualifications include a 2-year health-related diploma, CPR/First Aid, a valid Ontario driver's license with access to a vehicle, and liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum 2-year degree/diploma in a health-related field such as Social Service Worker, Mental Health and Addiction Worker, Child and Youth Worker.
• Two years’ experience in a health-related field preferred. Internal applicants considered first.
• Current CPR and First Aid is required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum 2-year degree/diploma in a health-related field such as Social Service Worker, Mental Health and Addiction Worker, Child and Youth Worker
• Two years’ experience working in a health-related field is preferred. Internal applicants will be considered before external applicants. We thank all applicants for their expressed interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
• Current CPR and First Aid is required.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
• Valid vehicle insurance with liability of $2,000,000 minimum.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills/experience.
• Ability to work within the Mental Health Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care guidelines, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Practitioner’s Code of Ethics, Best Practices, LLGAMH program standards
