Job summary

EPCOR is hiring a Manager, Regulatory & Management Reporting in Edmonton, AB for a full-time, hybrid role. You will oversee regulatory and management reporting for Energy Services, coordinating financial information for rate applications and leading annual Rule 5 reporting and SLA rate calculations.

You will guide a team, implement efficient processes, and ensure timely, accurate regulatory data while mitigating risk and supporting business strategy.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation required.
• Degree in business required.
• 6+ years of accounting experience required.
• 1+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.
• 3+ years with Oracle Financial, SAP or Workday Insights.
• Understanding GAAP/IFRS.
• Knowledge of electricity industry and regulatory environment.
• Advanced modeling skills; proficient in Excel and Power BI.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience with budgeting software (Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle EPM, etc.).
• Experience preparing regulatory cost of services and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory and management reporting for Energy Services.
• Coordinate financial information for non-energy rate applications.
• Oversee annual Rule 5 reporting and rate calculations for SLAs.
• Review monthly cost variance analysis.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement deliverables aligned with business plans.
• Ensure reporting timelines and accuracy; streamline processes.
• Maintain regulatory models, dashboards and financial reports.
• Oversee forecasting, analysis and three-year projections.
• Plan and coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee monthly variance analysis for OPEX and CAPEX.
