Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the Global Trade team by processing Broker inquiries to ensure timely import of VIAVI shipments, including preparing and reprinting necessary shipping and customs documents.
• Handle all US and Canadian import-related activities daily, ensuring compliance with legal customs regulations.
• Manage export shipment inquiries, trade fair goods, and Carnet ATA processes.
• Process monthly Broker reports within the VIAVI ISA import record retention system.
• Collaborate with relevant departments and external bodies to prevent freight delays.
• Perform other functions necessary to support US and Canadian imports.

Prerequisites / Skills / Experience:

• Certified Customs Specialist or equivalent training with professional experience in import/export processing.
• In-depth understanding of import/export processes, regulations, and document creation in line with customs formalities.
• Initial experience in import control.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced with ERP systems.
• Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to work independently and reliably.
