Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Global Trade team by processing Broker inquiries to ensure the timely import of VIAVI shipments, including preparing and reprinting necessary shipping and customs documents.
• Handle all US and Canadian import-related activities in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with all legal customs regulations.
• Manage standard export shipment inquiries, trade fair goods, and Carnet ATA processes.
• Process monthly Broker reports within the VIAVI ISA import record retention system.
• Collaborate with related departments and external bodies to prevent freight delays.
• Perform other functions necessary to support US and Canadian imports.

Prerequisites / Skills / Experience

• Certified Customs Specialist or equivalent training with professional experience in import and export processing.
• Strong understanding of import/export processes, regulations, and document creation in accordance with customs formalities.
• Initial experience in import control.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced with ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, reliably, and independently.
