Job summary

Hydro One in Toronto, ON is seeking an Advisor, Regulatory Affairs to lead regulatory filings and compliance challenges with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, develop strategies, and ensure timely, well-supported submissions to influence regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of financial concepts, economics, engineering, quantitative analysis, statistics to develop business strategies and cases.
• Requires good command of English to develop submissions and present to committees.
• Requires 4 years of university training (Grade XII plus 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Develop, file and defend regulatory proceedings and compliance challenges with the OEB.
• Advise Lines of Business on regulatory policies and strategies.
• Develop strategies, tactics and positions on regulatory issues requiring OEB approval.
