Regulatory Affairs Associate, Global - Hybrid

Division: Legal
Location: Hybrid (Ontario)
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Employment: Temporary (12-Month Contract)

Job Summary

The Regulatory Affairs Associate, Global provides regulatory support for Aurora’s international exports from Canadian facilities. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and successful regulatory strategies across regions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understanding regulatory frameworks and regional trends for applications and licensing.
  2. Building relationships with internal and external experts to support regulatory strategies and exports.
  3. Sharing best practices in handling applications and procedures with health authorities.
  4. Contributing to submission planning, preparation, and delivery throughout product lifecycle.
  5. Supporting project planning, resource management, and risk escalation.
  6. Maintaining compliance activities, submission tracking, and document management.
  7. Developing process improvements.
  8. Engaging with international regulators and business units.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of regulatory experience in biopharmaceuticals, health authorities, or relevant fields.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations within scientific and commercial contexts.
  • Experience in regulated environments like GMP, consumer goods, or pharmaceuticals.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of cannabis, GMP, and related products with Health Canada.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
