Job summary

Caldic North America is seeking a Regulatory Support Specialist to assist the regulatory team with documentation and ticketing requests, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries for documentation.

You will coordinate information from suppliers, maintain technical packages for ingredients and products, and support a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Science degree or diploma, preference for specialization in Food Science or Nutrition.
• Knowledge of Canadian Food and Drug Regulations and US CFR considered an asset.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced customer-centric environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
• Experience in a Customer Service role is an asset.
• Superior organization and time management.
• Team player with exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

Job description

Position function and scope:

Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the individual will be responsible for supporting the regulatory team members in a variety of moderately complex and administrative duties. This role will ensure assignment of the Regulatory teams ticket requests, while assisting in the annual review and update of product documentation and answering customer inquiries for documentation.

MAJOR TASKS AND DUTIES:

• Coordinate and request technical information (Product Specifications, GMO, Allergen charts, Third party audit certificates Etc.) from suppliers
• Respond to customer requests for technical documentation related to all Caldic products
• Maintain technical packages for ingredients, resale and manufactured products
• Other tasks as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Science Degree or Diploma, (Preference for specialization in Food Science or Nutrition).
• Working knowledge of Canadian Food and Drug Regulations and US Code of Federal Regulations considered an asset.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced customer centric environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow through skills
• Experience in a Customer Service role is an asset
