The Opportunity

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registration and Scheduling Clerk’s primary responsibilities include patient booking/scheduling and registration. Additional duties may involve answering inquiries via phone/email, preparing reports, maintaining filing systems, scanning and archiving, managing mail, demonstrating customer service skills, scheduling appointments, and managing supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday, with some evenings as required.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Graduate from a recognized office administration diploma program preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of email and MS Word required.
  • Knowledge of office equipment required.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads required.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and minimal supervision required.
  • Attention to quality, accuracy, and detail required.
  • Ability to work well with others and in a team required.
  • Flexibility to meet workload demands required.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information required.
  • Experience in patient scheduling preferred; experience with Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) is an asset.
  • Competency in other languages is an asset.
