About the Role

The ideal candidate for the position of Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) will cultivate positive relationships with clients through the demonstration of genuine care and compassion towards both clients and their pets. All interactions will be conducted with the utmost respect, as the RVT is expected to provide exemplary customer service.

The RVT will assist the Veterinarian in various medical, surgical, and dental procedures. This includes the utilization of diagnostic equipment, preparation of patients, instruments, and surgical tools, as well as the administration and monitoring of medications under the Veterinarian's guidance. A valid RVT License is a prerequisite for this position.

Qualifications
  • Registered Veterinary Technician or Technologist
  • Completion of a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
  • Successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) or eligibility to sit for the VTNE
  • Good standing with the Provincial Regulatory Association
