VCA Canada’s Marda Loop Animal Hospital in Calgary, AB is welcoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. We offer mentorship, training and community warmth.

We welcome new graduates and value a strong foundation in exams, patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture and pharmacy. You will assist in surgery, maintain patient records, and support pet parents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
• New graduates welcome; knowledge of exams, patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and pet parents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients.
• Passion to learn and grow in the role.
• Love for all companion animals.

Marda Loop Animal Hospital is welcoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT, to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!

• Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
• New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
