VetCare Canada Inc. in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support veterinary medical, surgical and dental procedures.

The RVT will assist veterinarians, prepare patients and instruments, and monitor medications under supervision. Candidates must be VTNE eligible or in good standing with the provincial regulatory body and have completed a Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma program.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician(RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
