Job summary

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking registered veterinary technicians to join our General Practice team. You will perform technical duties, communicate with clients and care for patients under the supervision of veterinarians.

Qualifications

• As a licensed veterinary technician, credentialed applicants are preferred.
• Experience is beneficial but training is available for the right new grad.
• Ability to communicate with clients and provide compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support technician and doctor teams with patient care and client communication.
• Perform examinations, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology and labs.
• Assist in surgical preparation and patient recovery.
• Manage venipuncture, catheter placement and pharmacology tasks.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals and client education.

Job description

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking registered veterinary technicians to join our team in our General Practice. Our technicians are responsible for the technical duties, client communication and patient care related to their role and department.

Location: Denver, CO

Application deadline: 7/30/2026

Pay: $24.00-$27.00/hr based on experience and credentials. Experienced, credentialed technicians are preferred, but we are happy to train the right new grad!
