A regional healthcare provider in York Region, Vaughan, is looking for a Registered Technologist in Interventional Radiology. This role focuses on providing quality patient care and technical support in the interventional suite. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Radiography, CMRITO membership, and BCLS certification. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. The Registered Technologist in Interventional Radiology is a Medical Radiation Technologist MRT(R). As part of the inter-professional team the Registered Technologist, Interventional Radiology plays an essential role in providing quality and patient/family centered care within the interventional suite. The Registered Technologist, Interventional Radiology is responsible to work within a team environment to complete diagnostic images of In-patient and Out-patient clients in an accurate, efficient and professional manner. All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed. Staff will rotate through IR master.

Primary Assignment is in Interventional Radiology. This position is being represented by OPSEU Paramedical.
You will be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health.
