New Moon Psychotherapy in Toronto, ON, is expanding its services to include comprehensive psychological assessment and optional psychotherapy caseloads. We seek a Registered Psychologist with assessment expertise to work with trauma-focused care and complex presentations.
You will focus on ADHD, autism, forensic/risk, and psychodiagnostic assessments, while maintaining flexible in-person hours two days per week and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Alongside our core clinical work, we also provide support to individuals who have been accused or convicted of sexual and gender-based violence.

Given the population we serve, we particularly value experience diagnosing trauma-related disorders and thoughtfully considering the impact of traumatic life experiences when conducting differential diagnosis.
You do not need to provide every type of assessment listed above. Expertise in ADHD, autism, and/or forensic assessment is particularly sought after, and psychologists are welcome to offer additional assessments within their training, authorized areas, and scope of competence.
Psychological assessment is a new service at New Moon, with a clear focus on ADHD, autism, forensic/risk, and psychodiagnostic assessment that complements our established work in trauma, relationships, and sexuality.
As we build this area, you’ll have an opportunity to bring your expertise to the development of our assessment services and help shape how this work grows within the practice.

Depending on your training and interests, your clinical work may include individual psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, sex therapy, and trauma-focused psychotherapy.
This is a specialized position requiring established assessment training and clinical experience.

Applicants must be available to provide in-person services at least two days per week within these clinical hours.
Clinicians otherwise have flexibility in establishing their schedules and may incorporate virtual services where clinically appropriate.
