Are you a passionate therapist with experience in perinatal and postpartum care? Healing Roots Therapy is looking for a skilled clinician to join our collaborative and culturally-informed practice in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you’ll support individuals and couples navigating pregnancy, birth, postpartum transitions, and parenthood with compassion, insight, and clinical excellence.

What We're Looking For

You are bothclinically grounded and professionally accountable, able to balance therapeutic presence with the organizational and documentation standards required for high-quality care. You take initiative when needed, manage your caseload responsibly, and approach both clinical and administrative responsibilities with consistency, attention to detail, and professionalism.

You valuecollaboration, ongoing growth, and ethical practice, and engage in supervision and team connection as part of your development as a clinician. Most importantly, you approach your work withempathy, respect, inclusivity, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients in a meaningful and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support 15 clients weekly or more for In-person services (Individuals, and/or Couples).
  • Conduct an initial intake with the proposed new clients;
  • Prepare and ensure accurate, thorough and timely recording of all client information and documentation, including but not limited to: session activity notes, reports, correspondence of consented third parties, legal forms and doctor’s letters, while ensuring all information is up-to- date and continually documented;
  • Prepare, develop and deliver personalized treatment plans for clients;
  • Coordinate service requirements on a per client basis;
  • Meet with an external supervisor or Internal (group supervision 2x a month is provided) to ensure ethical practice and care for client care.
Requirements
  • Masters in Counselling/Masters in Social Work or related field.
  • Registered with the CRPO, OSSWRSSW, CPBAO
  • At least 1 years of experience practicing the act of psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with perinatal/prenatal and post-partum clients and providing couples therapy (minimum 1 year experience Required)
Availability and Work Structure
  • This role requires availability 3 days a week during evenings and/or weekends to support client accessibility and continuity of care
  • This is a fully in-person position, allowing for deeper connection and engagement with clients
  • Our in-person model reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, relational, and consistent care within the clinic environment
  • Fully equipped clinic: thorough administrative support that includes scheduling, billing, IT support.
  • Fully electronic charting, scheduling, payments, and billing (from 9am-8:30pm)
