Job summary

True North Psychological Services & NuVista Mental Health in Kingston, NS invites a Registered Psychologist to join a established clinic network. You will build and manage your own practice within a supportive environment, with a steady referral base and resources for clinical growth.

You’ll provide PTSD and trauma-informed care, conduct psychological assessments, and collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists. A minimum of 20 hours weekly in person is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or related field).
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments.
• Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced PTSD and trauma-informed care.
• Able to provide experienced care with Veterans, RCMP and PSC.
• Psychoeducational and/or psychological assessments.
• Effectively manage case load, reporting.
• Ability to work a minimum of ~20 hours per week and in clinic.

Key Responsibilities
