Build a focused psychological practice supporting future healthcare professionals

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FoPPS) is seeking an experiencedRegistered Psychologist to provide dedicated psychological care to undergraduate and graduate learners navigating the academic, professional and personal demands of healthcare education.

This role is primarily focused on one-to-one counselling and psychological support, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with learners experiencing a range of mental health, academic and personal concerns.

As the primary provider of psychological services within FoPPS, you will have significant professional autonomy in your clinical work while also being connected to psychologists and social workers in the University's Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing. The position offers a focused practice environment where you can become deeply familiar with the needs and pressures experienced by Pharmacy learners.

Your work will primarily support Pharmacy students and graduate learners, with some additional support to medical learners through an established partnership with the Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing.

This role may be particularly appealing to an experienced clinician who valuesdirect therapeutic work, professional independence, a defined client population and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students preparing for healthcare careers.
