Extendicare Tendercare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN/LPN) for a night shift, temporary full-time role in Canada. You will ensure nursing care aligns with standards, manage vital signs, and support care planning alongside physicians’ orders and policies.

Ideal candidates hold a provincial certificate of competence, are eligible for registration, and have experience in long-term care, especially with cognitively impaired residents.

Qualifications

  • Current certificate of competence from the approved institutions for the province.
  • Registration or eligible for registration with the province.
  • Experience in long-term care or community homecare preferred.
  • Experience with cognitively impaired residents.
  • Knowledge of nursing and infection control practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in writing.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

## Registered Practical Nurse - Temp Full-time Night - TendercareApply: Assist - Tendercare LTC (McNicoll Ave): Part time: Posted Yesterday: R36225**Job Description**The RPN/LPN will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practice daily in keeping with the standards and expectations set out by governing bodies and internal policies and standards of care. General Responsibilities 1) Ensure care is provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies, as well as, observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents / patients. Assure observance of required techniques in nursing care2) Assist in assessing patients/residents and develop, implement, review and evaluate care plans.
