Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Permanent Full-Time
Join our team as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)!

Full Time Permanent Opportunity available

As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you are an integral part of the health care team, and in this role you will provide planned, resident-focused and goal-directed care in accordance with the provincial standards of care under the direction of the Director of Care.

The following traits and qualifications are required:

  • Candidates must possess a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. O. Reg. 246/22, s. 51
  • Experience in a Long Term Care (Gerontology) setting is an asset
  • Perform care planning and coordination of care in a diverse multidisciplinary care team
  • A demonstrated use of current care technology
  • Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Act as Charge Nurse when required
  • Communicate as needed with the home's physician
  • Demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education, training, and professional development
  • Adhere to the guidelines and requirements of MLTC
  • Possess the skills to demonstrate and deliver effective, safe, and resident-centered care
  • Provide quality service that meets and exceeds the needs and expectations of the residents
  • Contribute to a home environment for residents that ensures the values of Jarlette Health Services are met
